Coming January 2021
Among the counties bordering Hocking County are five prisons, multiple jails, two halfway houses, a Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF), and numerous homeless shelters. During 2018, Ohio experienced 3,237 unintentional drug overdose deaths, with Hocking County and its surrounding counties accounting for 113 of those deaths. Four of the seven counties, including and bordering Hocking County, are listed as counties with the highest overdose death rates during that year. Despite these tragic numbers, there continues to be limited access to addiction treatment centers, with residential housing, available for adult men.
With the number of drug overdoses back on the rise in Ohio just a year after the first decline in nine years,* it is critical that we create opportunities of hope for those suffering (as well as their families and children).
We are passionate about providing excellent client care and creating opportunities for individuals to receive addiction treatment services.
